Welcome to HOPE Christian School Fortis
We are more than a school; we are a family! Fortis is a Latin word meaning ‘strong.’ The unconditional love of Christ, the goal of a college education, and the growth of Christian character are infused into everything we do.

We offer grades K4-8th through a warm and nurturing community – 98% of our parents say their child feels safe at HOPE Fortis. Inside our classrooms, you will find dedicated teachers who are invested in your child’s learning. College is talked about from early grades on, so that our scholars envision themselves as lifelong learners.
We feature an indoor gym, an outdoor recess play area, shared common spaces and a warm, nurturing community. We also offer free bus transportation.
Every day, scholars participate in activities that support the growth of their relationship with Jesus Christ. We are blessed to have a dedicated Chaplain on site to lead devotion and prayer.
School Choice
HOPE Fortis is part of the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program (commonly known as “School Choice”). This program allows scholars whose families meet certain income qualifications and reside within the Milwaukee Public School District the ability to attend a participating private or religious school of their choice, tuition free.
Interested families must complete an online application through the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) along with their verification of current income level and residency.
